1st Batch of Domestic Materials in Mexico's I20 project Successfully Arrived at the On-site Warehouse Under the strong promotion of JEPCC's leadership and the concerted efforts of various departments, the February 13, 2025 has witnessed an important milestone of the Mexico I20 (Phase II) Section 1 Power Transmission and Transformation Project — the first batch of procured materials in domestic (pre-embedded 386 bases, a total of 190 tons) has successfully arrived at the Culiacan warehouse site. The smooth arrival of the materials provided a solid guarantee for the subsequent construction of the project. The scale of material procurement for this project in domestic is huge, including about 13,000 tons of iron tower materials, 1353 kilometers of wires, and 213.1 kilometers of OPGW optical cables. On February 13, 2025, the project team will again send 5,700 tons of iron tower materials from China, and the remaining materials will also be shipped one after another. It is expected that all the materials will be sent from domestic in early April 2025. The clustered arrival of large quantities of materials is a great challenge for the project department. Facing this challenge, the project department will actively take the following measures: 1.Make a detailed material management plan in advance:the plan will cover the receiving, storage, distribution and utilization of materials to ensure that each step is orderly and efficient. 2. Strengthen close cooperation with local customs and relevant departments:actively communicate and coordinate to ensure rapid customs clearance of materials, thus minimizing the stay time at the port, and improving customs clearance efficiency. 3. Optimize logistics routes and chose high-quality logistics partners:scientific planning of transportation routes ensure that materials can be safely and timely transported from the port to the construction site and guarantee the construction progress. 4. Strictly control the quality of materials:for each batch of materials arriving at the site, the project department will organize professional personnel to carry out strict quality inspection to ensure that all materials meet the project requirements and standards, thus guaranteeing the project quality. 5. Accurately record and track material dynamics: establish a sound incoming and outgoing warehouse account, thus realizing the real-time tracking of the flow of materials, preventing material loss or damage in the process of transportation and storage, and ensuring the safety and control of materials. 6. Improve the storage management system:standardize the storage management process to ensure the accurate quantity, good quality and safe storage of inventory materials. Through specialized management, improve storage efficiency, reduce operating costs, and provide a solid backing for the smooth progress of the project. | |
