On July 11 (Local Time) in Guyana, Zhang Guolai, Vice President of POWERCHINA International Group Ltd. and General Manager of its Americas Regional Headquarters, alongside Xiang Xiaobin, General Manager and Director of Jiangxi Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. (JEPCC), and Cao Xinsheng, Vice President of JEPCC, held meetings with Guyanese officials and inspected project progress.

In the morning, Zhang Guolai, Xiang Xiaobin and their delegation met with Deodat Indar, Vice Minister of Public Works of Guyana. Zhang Guolai expressed gratitude for the support and guidance provided by the Ministry of Public Works, introduced POWERCHINA's business development in the Americas and Guyana, and stated that the company would continue leveraging its experience and advantages in the fields of water, energy, and urban infrastructure. He pledged increased resource investment to ensure the high-quality and timely delivery of ongoing projects, contributing to Guyana's infrastructure development and public welfare. Xiang Xiaobin specifically detailed the progress of the Guyana National Control Centre (GNCC) project and transmission and transformation projects undertaken by JEPCC, emphasizing the company's commitment to integrating superior resources to ensure smooth project delivery. Vice Minister Indar highly commended POWERCHINA's professionalism, expressed appreciation for its contributions, and expressed hope that POWERCHINA would continue actively participating in Guyana's modernization efforts.

In the afternoon, Zhang Guolai, Xiang Xiaobin and their delegation visited Guyana Power and Light Inc. (GPL) for talks with Chief Executive Officer Kesh Nandlall. The discussions focused extensively on the Guyana National Control Centre and transmission and transformation projects. Zhang Guolai thanked GPL for its trust and support and provided an update on the current implementation status of the projects. Xiang Xiaobin stated that JEPCC, as the project executor, would integrate its superior resources to ensure the projects are delivered on time with guaranteed quality and quantity. CEO Nandlall expressed that GPL would actively coordinate resources and work together with POWERCHINA and JEPCC to facilitate the smooth delivery of the projects.

During their stay in Guyana, Zhang Guolai, Xiang Xiaobin, Cao Xinsheng, and Li Hualin visited the construction site of the Guyana National Control Centre (GNCC) project for inspection and convened a work promotion meeting. The meeting emphasized that the project has entered a critical stage and must adhere to the overarching principle of " progress prioritized, quality as foundation, safety foremost." It called for the rational allocation of resources and the coordinated deployment of manpower and equipment; the continuous enhancement of refined on-site management, covering material procurement, construction organization, and commissioning arrangements; and the deepening of communication and collaboration with the project owner to improve execution efficiency and service quality, thereby effectively ensuring the achievement of the overall project targets as scheduled.
