An Appointment Surmounting Mountains and Oceans: A Full Success of 2024 International Employee Cross-Culture Integrating Seminar of Jiangxi Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. (JEPCC)

On December 2, 29 Chinese and foreign outstanding backbone employees from 8 different countries traveled thousands of miles to meet in China. A tour of learning, technical exchange, cultural integration has begun here, during 13 days, 12 nights, and in 4 cities.

On the morning of December 3, the opening ceremony of 2024 International Employee Cross-Culture Integrating Seminar of JEPCC was held in Nanchang. Xiang Xiaobin, general manager and member of board of directors of JEPCC attended and delivered a speech. Cao Xinsheng, deputy general manager of JEPCC, presided over the ceremony.

29 Chinese and foreign outstanding backbone employees gathered together to learn JEPCC's advanced technologies and management concepts for sustainable and high-quality development, conduct in-depth exchanges and discussions, promote cultural integration and innovation, and feel the company's team culture of "collaboration, study, innovation, security, encouragement and inclusiveness".

On December 5, 2024 International Business High-Quality Development Seminar of JEPCC was held, and all members of the company's leadership team attended. Cao Xinsheng, deputy general manager of the company, made a special work report on the high-quality development of the company's international business in 2024. The heads of the America Regional Headquarters, Asia-Pacific Regional Headquarters, Middle East and Africa Regional Headquarters, and Intelligence & Integrity Energy Technology Co., Ltd. made work reports respectively. Rodolfo, deputy general manager and COO of Mexico Branch, and DAVID, local executive manager of I20 project, exchanged and shared their views respectively. Zou Shengping, chairman of the company, made a concluding speech.

In the Nanchang Headquarters of JEPCC, the company's leaders and representatives of outstanding Chinese and foreign backbone employees had a "face to face" discussion. The two sides exchanged their heartfelt views and aspirations in "zero distance" and leaders answered questions and solved doubts for the employee representatives. Representatives all shared what they saw, heard and felt in this special journey, and said that they really felt the warmth from the big family of JEPCC.

From December 8 to December 11, the Chinese and foreign outstanding backbone employees went to Yangzhou and Wuhan successively to visit JEPCC's GZ309 Plot Nuo Garden Project, Tairun Fishery-PV Complementary Photovoltaic Project, Intelligence & Integrity Charging—"Fangcao Road PV-Storage-Charging Zero Carbon Port” charging station, Intelligent Energy Integrated O&M Support Platform, and felt the vigorous vitality of the company's scientific and technological innovation at close range.

I²-Cloud Intelligent O&M Integrated Support Platform can provide real-time panoramic monitoring, to achieve effective supervision, indicator analysis, fault warning, and production management over the production equipment in the region. "JEPCC’s efficient management, intelligent monitoring, and automated operation and maintenance are so impressive, and I want to apply these technologies to Mexico", Rodolfo expressed his expectation of applying such intelligent operation and maintenance platforms in Mexico.

“Our friendship surmounting mountains and seas”

On December 11, the closing ceremony of this seminar was held in Wuhan Intelligence & Integrity Energy Technology Co., LTD. Cao Xinsheng, deputy general manager of the company, presented the completion certificate to backbone employees. Ronggo, Rogelio and Soumya shared their feelings as representatives.

The representatives said that through this "China trip", they experienced the vigorous vitality of the company's scientific and technological innovation and industrial development, as well as immersed themselves in the strong charm of the excellent traditional Chinese culture. On December 13, the outstanding backbone Chinese and foreign employees visited the Exhibition Hall and had a discussion and exchange in POWERCHINA Group International Engineering Co., LTD. The both sides focused on international business and cultural exchanges to share; many overseas employees said they would bring "Chinese wisdom" back, contribute to the sustainable and high-quality development of the enterprise, and jointly create a better future.

Establish “Concentric Circle” Model for Cultural Integration

"This is my first time riding the world's fastest High-Speed Train", "China's rapid development is breathtaking". Foreign employees took the China's high-speed train, “Fuxing Hao”, which won unanimous praise for its "China's speed".

On this "Cultural Integration" tour, the Chinese and foreign employees have visited Jiangxi Provincial Museum, Tengwang Pavilion, the Great Wall, the Forbidden City and other places of interest. By enjoying the beautiful scenery, watching the Beijing Opera, and tasting the Chinese delicacy, the Chinese and foreign employees appreciated these new experiences so much, hitting the spot. They felt the charm of the fine traditional Chinese culture and were full of the sense of belonging and pride of "coming home".

No matter how many mountains and seas between us, they cannot prevent us from meeting and knowing each other; our friendship will span thousands of miles. A wonderful "China trip" for learning and exploration has narrowed the distance between Chinese and foreign employees, making our hearts integrate with each other.
